INSTALL METHODS
We offer 6 beautiful hair extension installation methods: Strand (micro-link & keratin), Sewn (braided & braidless), Tape, and Clip-Ins. Below you will find full descriptions of the different hair extension KNX Salon provide. This will help to narrow down your choices when you call to ask for a consultation.
THE STRAND
MICRO LINKS – extension loop hair strands through a micro-bead and are fastened to your natural hair. This technique allows extensions to worn in a high ponytail and results in a healther, more natural fall of your hair.

Requires NO glue, wax, heat, braiding, or sewing

Hair is reusable
KERATIN – extensions use a heating tool to safely fuse strands of your hair to a pre-bonded, natural protein tipped extension; creating a lush thick head of hair.

Both styles lasts up to 2-3 months with proper care and maintenance.
SEWN
BRAIDLESS (THE VAVAVOOM SEWIN™) extensions are our exclusively designed technique. They are installed using micro-links, machine or hand-tied weft hair & thread. Not your typical sew-in, you won't believe the difference. Extension wefts are sewn over a series of flat and adjustable microlinks attached close to the scalp creating a flat and natural look.

TAPE
SKIN WEFTS are applied to thin slices of your natural hair with gently adhesive strips and requires no heat to apply. The removal and re-taping is simple and quick process. KNX Salon uses Hotheads Hair Extensions for all skin weft extensions.

CLIP-INS
CLIP INS hair extensions are lightweight and can easily and quickly be applied to add length and/or volume to hair without damaging the natural hair. This technique does not require a commitment and is recommended for clients looking to add fullness, color and/or length for a special occasion.
